CRB7 projects mission was to design a router guide with many degrees of freedom to achieve compound cure cuts rather then just the traditional straight line cuts. There were issues with base plate warping which we eventually erradicated with a large central hole (we also saved money on material as a result). It has a tightening system so it locks and unlocks very quickly and smoothly. The CRB7 metal chassis is aluminium extruded with some secondary machining to tap the hole threads. Fantastic project and is still to this day being stocked by trent (screwfix's supplier).

In contrast, to the traditional straight line cuts. Initially, there were issues with base plate warping. However, we eventually fixed it with a large central hole.
